Meet Dr. Kelsey Ryan, one of our dedicated veterinarians at Plateau Veterinary Hospital. Born and raised in Gresham, Oregon, Dr. Ryan has lived all around the state before finding her home in Central Oregon. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2015, and her Master of Science in comparative health sciences and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees in 2024 from Oregon State University. Dr. Ryan also holds a certificate in aquarium science from Oregon Coast Community College, which led her to work as a keeper in zoos and aquariums before transitioning to veterinary medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and coastal adventures with her family. Dr. Ryan shares her home with her husband, Josh, and their little dog, Oliver.
